My best friend's mother is the coolest mom EVER!
She is the only mom I know that is totally comfortable with her kids cursing like sailors and talking crudely about sex. Ok maybe she isn't so comfortable with the crude sex comments, but she deals with it and usually laughs along. She cracks me up and I can usually get her to smile too. She is so sweet and mommy-ish that when she gets angry and curses it sounds hilarious and almost out of place. "THAT IS A HUGE FUCKING BUILDING." She is the only mom I know that will literally serve her kids their drinks and meals even though they are capable teenagers and adults. And like Rach says, she knows the exact portions of food to give us. Even me. She makes the best cupcakes you've ever put in your mouth. She cracks up at the dumb stuff Rachel and I pull when out in public and rarely yells at us. =) She claims me as her own and that says a lot about her. Especially if you know me at all. haha. She is very easy to talk to and probably knows more about my current life than my own mother. We watch stoner teen flick movies with her and trade library books on dysfunctional women. Guess that says something about us? haha. I love this woman. She puts up with a lot from us kids and if/when she reads this, I hope she knows that I really appreciate her as a friend and an adopted mommy.

An Ode To Cinderella......I love this kid! Yes I claim her as my own all the time when strangers walk up to us on the street and tell me what beautiful 3(not 2) daughters I have....I say "Thankyou!"
She is always making all of us laugh and doing silly 'Rella things that only she can do ("Jump on it!",spinning around in my church clothes skirt,running away from the Easter Bunny at the mall,singing along in the car to everything!)
If all of us are grumpy she usually can make us laugh and cheer up and that is no small feat with the debaters. She will even tell off my own children if she thinks they are not appreciating me enough no matter what grief she gets for it.
Even though I may know a lot about her life (and love her to bits and pieces)... she is a great kid because she was raised right by her own silly Momma and is the most respectful,funny,smart, young lady I know.(besides my own girls of course!)I'm very lucky to hang around her and lucky that my own teenaged and grown kids want to hang around me too,at an age where parents are just so "boring & dumb"...and yes I do appreciate that very much and cherish every minute with this great bunch.
She takes a LOT of teasing over Tractor Day with a good sense of humor. She is also absolutely gorgeous but doesn't know that yet somehow...which makes her just that much more special.Miss 'Rella is going places you watch and see!
But my fave thing about her is she NEVER makes fun of my snowman collection and buys me one every year at Christmas. :-)
So to sum up 'Rella....smart,funny,silly,pretty,thoughtful,big hearted,sensitive,and a great friend to have.
